Thanksgiving

We went to my parents in Oklahoma last week for Thanksgiving. Jeremy got to see lots of family and these pictures are with my Nanny and Great-Aunt Eloise (they are sisters.) I'm so thankful they get to see Jeremy.

Bath time fun and Christmas trees

Some pictures of fun in the tub and the family in front of the tree.

I'm a Wild Hog!

This outfit was passed down from a friend (Thanks Aron) and I think it's sooooo adorable. So we took some pictures- surprising, right?

Visit with Nana

Stephen's mom, Celia, was in town the other day and stopped by for a quick visit. It's a great picture of both of them.

Fun in Ada

Here are some pictures with Grandpa and Aunt Eloise.

Oklahoma Visit

Trip to Oklahoma

We went to see my family last weekend in Ada and had a great time. Jeremy was in his first parade and went to his first football game. We met my brother's girlfriend who was visiting from London. Jeremy also visited with Nanny and Eloise. I took lots of pictures but here are some highlights. Enjoy!

Family picture

This is not the picture for the directory, but I wish it was. Jeremy is smiling so big in this one. It's fuzzy because I scanned it.

Song from "Fireproof"

Stephen and I went saw Fireproof a few weeks ago with our church. The church got a theater and offered discounted tickets. It was a great movie!! I recommend it to every person, married or not. This song was in the movie and another blooger from HP posted it on her blog. I decided to do the same. It doesn't matter what were are waiting for, God desires us to serve Him faithfully and be patient. After all, He is VERY patient with us. :) Hope you enjoy the song, video, and go check out the movie.

While I’m Waiting

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience

While I’m waiting
I will serve You
While I’m waiting
I will worship
While I’m waiting
I will not faint
I’ll be running the race
Even while I wait

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it’s not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait

I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting on You, Lord

Our church is making a new directory and we all went to get our picture taken last month. These two are not for the directory, but we did buy the proofs. Just wanted to share.

Tough Guy

Jeremy's a fighter! hahaha He has a black eye, but we're not sure how. He's not crawling or walking so it can't be from that. He did topple over while playing on Tuesday, but that was to the left and it's the right eye. Not sure if he slept on a paci or hand. Who knows how it happened...but we don't want to see the loser. :) Other than that, he's doing fine. We're going to the dr. today for some red bumps he has all over his arms, legs, face, but not torso. We (the dr included) thought they were moquito bites, but he gets more each day. I'd rather be safe than sorry. We hope you are all doing well.

Drew's Blog

I have posted another blog that I am following. It's a former violin student, Drew, who has been severely injured while logging in Montana. This is his Caring Bridge site which his mom usually updates. Drew has a spinal cord injury and has been told he will never walk again. He faces a long recovery and any prayers are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

9 month check up

Jeremy and I went to the ped. on Thursday for his check up. We now go to Dr Li, who is a friend from high school. I really liked her and she gave Jeremy a very thorough exam. He weighs 18 lbs. 12.5 oz. He's 27 1/8 in. long, and his head circumference is 18 in. (such a big brain!) hahaha He received two shots, one being 1/2 of the flu vaccine. Well, we'll finish the vaccine but don't think we'll get it again. Amy called me on Friday that Jeremy had been crying most of the time from 11:00-2:00. She held him and he fell asleep on her (he never does that anymore.) You could tell he felt so bad. He ran a little fever last night, and we gave him Tylenol and Motrin. We think he ached because he cried when we laid him in the crib. We thought we'd have a long night, but around 9:30 he went to his crib and fell asleep. He slept pretty good and I only gave him medicine once during the night. He's had long morning and afternoon naps, but he's trying to make up for yesterday so we're letting him sleep. It was awful to see him so miserable. He's never been sick like that so I also wonder if it scared him. But we're past it and praying that the 2nd shot doesn't cause such a reaction. I know the drs say the vaccine is a "dead" virus and such, but it's the only thing we can think of that was different in his environment. And my brother had bad reactions to flu vaccines.

Jeremy also had another tooth- his front left one. Hoepfully we can get him to smile really big and catch it in a photo. Other than that, we are doing well and have no exciting news. Hope this finds everyone else doing well and enjoying fall.

September Happenings

Jeremy stays at a friends house on Fridays when I work. Amy is a God-send and her two boys are great for Jeremy. Brodie is 2 and Blake is 5 1/1 months. This picture is of Blake and Jeremy and we all hope they become good friends as they grow up together. My cousin, Hannah, and her daughter, Aubrey, came down last Saturday for a quick day visit. We had a good time and the kids enjoyed playing together again.
